Rejuvenate with Retinol
Having recently been to the Caribbean, I have the typical signs of a holiday-goer. I possess holiday trinkets, a tanned appearance…and dry skin. Yes, while 10 days of sun has given me a healthy looking appearance, my skin has become quite dry and sensitive.
Since my return to normality (clearly not bringing the sun home with me), I’ve been on the lookout for a good moisturiser that can cater to my current skin needs. I need something that will deeply moisturise and hydrate my skin as well as being able to ease the signs of sun damage.
And I think I’ve found the one!
Introducing skinChemists Advanced Retinol Moisturiser…
I like this moisturiser because the ingredients work perfectly together to give my skin everything it needs.
Firstly, the star of the show, Retinol aims to help collagen production and plump the skin, but it also helps to reduce pigmentation that comes with sun damage. It’s the perfect ingredient for those want to diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation!
For those with dehydrated skin, like me, the addition of AQUAXYL aims to optimise the circulation of water between the layers of the skin and works to prevent water loss. This also helps boost the work of the Hyaluronic Acid in the product which works to provide hydration all the way down into the lower epidermal layers of the skin.
I think it’s safe to say that these ingredients will well and truly kick dry and dehydrated skin in to touch! Also infused with Coconut Oil, the skinChemists Advanced Retinol Moisturiser works as a skin conditioner and also provides a layer of protection for the skin.
I’ve been using this product morning and night and my skin feels plumper and more moisturised after using it for just a couple of days. I really like the consistency as it feels rich when applied to the skin but only needs a few minutes to fully absorb into the skin.
I also find that just one pump of the product provides enough to cover my face.
If you find your skin lacking hydration, bearing fine lines or pigmentation problems, then I would highly recommend this moisturiser. I can’t wait to see how my skin improves over the coming weeks. My tan may fade but healthy, happy skin will not!
